DIY Penny Vase



This DIY can bring a new look to any room. its crafty and gives a new meaning to pennies  



1) What You Will Need:
      Black Spray Paint
      Hot Glue gun
      Pennies
      A Vase



2) Spray Paint The Vase And Let Dry.

3) begin to glue on the pennies to the vase with the hot glue gun

DIY Decrative Mason Jars

 








  1) You Will Need:
   
    Mason jars (as many as you like)
    Painting tape
    Mod Podge
    Glitter
    Acrylic Paint
    Paintbrush


2) Pour the paint into the mason jar and move it around until the paint spreads evenly. You may use a paint brush if you like. After the paint is spread tip the jar upside down to dry so all excess paint comes out.



3) Wrap the tape around the mason jar to wear you want your glitter to be. Apply a coat of mod podge at the bottom of the jar. Begin to sprinkle the glitter on to the mod podge.


4) After the glue has dried apply a clear coat on top of the glitter. If you don't have a clear coat hair spray works just as well.

DIY Salt Dough Leaves

 This project would be great to do with your kids as a fall decoration.







Salt dough recipe:         
1 cup flour  (extra for kneading)                      
1/2 cup salt                      
1/2 cup water 
Construction
Mix together flour salt and water until you have a nice dough. roll out on to the counter and cut out circles. Cook the dough at 250 for 2-3 hours.                
 




1) Place the dough onto a cookie sheet covered with wax paper. press the leaf onto the dough so you can see the imprint of the leaf.


2) After they come out of the oven let cool.

3) You will need:
    acrylic paint (autumn colors)
    paint brush

Paint the leaves following the imprint and let dry.

DIY light switch cover


Diy Light Switch Cover 

 

 1)  You will need:

    Mod Podge
    Paint brush
    Light Switch
    Image/ Scrapbook Paper
 




2)  Using your paint brush apply a coat of mod podge
to the light switch.


 

 3) Put the image/ scrapbook paper on the light switch and begin to fold back the extra paper.
4) Flip over the light switch; if there is any wrinkles smooth them out.
begin to apply a top coat of mod podge. once the glue dries you are able to hang up you're light switch.
